Chaos in airports

not sure why they've continued this, even back in april in barcelona we waved the QR code in their general direction - not that they were looking much.

i thought italy was going to be more tough, but reading up ahead of visiting this week and they've dropped all entry requirements.
They don’t care was there few weeks back

When is this? We're flying with them bank holiday weekend
August bank hol . If google it Nate Schiphol airport is as bad if not worse than Heathrow . Just pot luck if get hit or not . I think you would have heard by now if your flight was pulled .
Got Greece in couple weeks time , Amsterdam was just a long weekend jolly

We're going to Cape Town so if the ncl AMS leg is cancelled, we're screwed

Ncle to Ams was just changed to an early morn flight or 6pm think , could have lived with either , it was the return to newc that they cancelled
Cheers, we're not back until late in September, and I can live with being delayed getting back

Just through NCL check in (jet 2) and security in approx 20 mins altogether

Airport busy with the usual morning rush of flights but everything moving okay
20mins for us all in too. Airport not busy at all now. Nee queues anywhere. Currently sitting chilling in the lounge with a pint. 🍺

Logged into the KLM app this morning, ours is still showing as on schedule.

Dublin still a disaster.

Queues of an hour to even get into the airport, with the initial queue starting all the way back at the carpark.

You'd definitely need to give yourself at least two hours to be safe, and that's with no bag drop.

Then when you do eventually get through the place is absolutely vile. Toilets disgusting with shitty tissues, blocked urinals. Bins overflowing and rubbish dumped all over.

Nowhere to get food or drink as everywhere is either closed or has longer queues than security!

The CEO is moving on in September 2022 so clearly everyone involved at management level has all but thrown in the towel ahead of that.

Best avoided for the foreseeable future if you can help it.

Our flight to Tenerife on the 5th of August was delayed a couple of hours due to lack of staff at Newcastle airport. Jet2 employees stepped in to do the job swissport staff were meant to do. Great bunch of lads and lasses.

Through Manchester bag drop (easyJet) and security in 20mins total.
Plenty of staff about, seems they’re on top of issues now
Yeh we went from T2 there last Tuesday. Car drop was rapid, bag drop was rapid. Security thing maybe took 15-20 mins then I held everyone up for another 5 as I'd forgot there was some vape liquid in my jacket pocket. All in all though was nowt like the horror stories of earlier this summer

just back malaga and they were pretty strict checking the covid passes , saw couple of young uns in a panic about it , was surprised as nowt in greece few week earlier
