Chaos in airports

Newcastle airport on Thursday morning was the most dead I’ve ever seen it. The vaccine check in Spain is a waste of time someone used his brothers and it worked since they don’t confirm it matches your ID

My lass just come back from Marbella, stood 40mins on the runway cos there wasn’t anyone to get the steps. Then an hour for baggage as they had no one to hit it on the carousel.

Sat 40mins on tarmac in Dubin Fri waiting for someone to unload baggage from PREVIOUS flight, then load on OUR bags. Got to Edinburgh and 15min wait for them to find somone to switch on the automatic plane parking system 🤦‍♂️

Flew from Heathrow terminal 3 today. Checked in online, and made my way to the escalators up to security... except it took me 20 mins of queing just to get to that point. Upstairs the security line snaked round itself four or five times. Took me about 1 hour 30 to do the whole thing, which is as bad as it got in the early 90s. Not terrible but bad enough.

I'd arrived early but my advice is, if you can afford it, get airport priority until they sort this out. Bear in mind, right now, its still term time and the bairns are still at school. In 2 weeks that won't be the case any more.

In benidorm they just did spot checks but people ignored them.
not sure why they've continued this, even back in april in barcelona we waved the QR code in their general direction - not that they were looking much.

i thought italy was going to be more tough, but reading up ahead of visiting this week and they've dropped all entry requirements.

Ryanair you need to wear a mask to fly to 14 countries but don’t need them for way back it’s ridiculous

Flying to Preveza in Greece next week from Gatwick, though I've booked Gatwick - Milan (Bergamo) with a 8 hour layover before continuing to fly to Preveza later that evening, had planned to venture into Bergamo to have a look around/grab lunch for a few hours, dunno if I'm pushing my luck with all these problems now tbh.
