Changing career path at 52

I have been made redundant for the first time in my life.
On the 30th June my current contract ceases.
I found out this morning I have been successful in a job I applied for.
I've been in Banking roles for twenty years.
I'm entering the world of igaming , nervous but looking forward to it.
Anyone totally changed their role at my old twat age 🙂

What happened to your swinging parties business?

I stayed in Engineering, but changed jobs at 50. I feel I did some of the best work I've ever done between then and when I retired 8 years later. I also found that I was taking on an additional "mentoring" role to young engineers and apprentices. As well as on the job training, I was also going through their HNC work with them, which they hadn't understood at college. Loved that time of my career. Just get used to the "owld bugger" comments !
