"No advantage at all...actually its a disadvantage as in Pakistan our spinners would've caused more damage and our batters would've scored more runs on their roads." ""Pakistan played here for years so they they still had home advantage for the ind v pak game."

You can not make up how deluded and brainwashed they are. They will ruin our beautiful game if they haven't already.
 
Unlucky Kiwis. Valiant effort but just a spinner short imo. Farcical that they needed an extra spinner or two in the final when the rest of the tournament they didn't. They should have let the rest of the teams not playing in UAE an extra squad member to compensate or something.

It's been an absolute shit tournament for me. Only silver lining was major cricket being back in Pakistan with a huge asterisk of course.

That will be the last tourney there for a long time imo. Through no fault of their own mind.

I would be canny annoyed if I was one of India players like ,read a stat that out of 24 matches played in the last 50 over World Cup and T20 World Cup and this Champions trophy India have won 23 out of 24 (losing in the final of the 50 over World Cup)

That’s a brilliant stat!

There clearly a awesome white ball side but it clearly and rightly tarnished by all the political bullshit that has gone on.

We don’t know how good a side they really are as had soo much unfair advantage go their ways.

Whilst I don't necessarily disagree with anything in your post. I have to take umbrage with your amazing stat comment. How can it be an amazing stat when like you said it's been tarnished with political BS and shenanigans? They've been juking the tourneys for a while now, citing large indian fans contingent blah blah need to know where games are being played blah blah. Like no other team with a big following has ever entered a tournament.

They're a joke and bringing the game into disrepute and nee one is saying nowt bar the odd token article, which doesn't really get to the crux of the matter. Criticism of the bcci and icc. Everyone is too scared to rock the boat cos of the cash. Cricket used to be held to a higher standard than rest of society. Looks like the current custodians are not classy enough, have any integrity or self respect to continue these long held traditions.

I personally think India have a absolute cracking white ball side but totally agree with everything you have said.

And because of the ridiculous advantages they getting hard to tell how good.

It’s made even more farcical that they the best side so it’s hard enough with giving them even more chance

However would say home advantage or no home advantage 23 wins out of 24 still a great stat mind;)

I'm the same mate. Had to congratulate some work colleagues through gritted teeth today. I felt dirty :lol:

Proper sound lads, just blinkered when it comes to cricket. Can't blame them tbh, when all they watch is the IPL and everything that goes with it. They actually believe it's the pinnacle of the sport.
