It partly annoys me but partly makes me giggle because it's the same morons on social media bringing football crap into it when they clearly (and many I know) don't even go and watch Durham. I'm always struggling to wonder why it bothers them so much. Of all the years I've watched Durham, never once have I heard anyone moan about it when the lads are singing.I wonder if they’ll still be banging on about it when we win the championship?

Surely it's a compliment if anything that they'd rather be in County Durham than Newcastle.
As you say who gives a flying fuck about the football at the cricket.
I'm from Northumberland and support Durham it should be celebrated as uniting factor for the NE, rather than divvies being tribal.
