Centre Forward tomorrow

Didn't mean you, meant the coaching staff

We aren't. That can't be written into a contract
Personally, I think Burstow has shown better movement in his limit games and that is more in keeping with the way we play
More the fact Hemir has looked lost in U21 games that poses the question why should anyone think he is ready for the Championship.
That’s what I’m going off mate. I’ve watched him a couple of games and he looks a yard off the pace, at least

That Sheffield Wednesday centre half ragging Burstow down for the penalty after he spun him down at Hillsborough was a bit of a kick in the balls for him. Nice one on one opportunity to get off the mark might well have done him and us the world of good.

Be surprised if he doesn't start again tomorrow like.

I’m not deciding anything, I’m just saying he doesn’t look ready to be starting Championship games.
This. He's been half arsed since he arrived and hasn't made any impression since that suggests this will change. He's done nothing to warrant a starting spot. I've said it before but he looks like someone who has always played in a dominant side who can carry a centre forward strolling around as long as he puts one away occasionally. You're never going to get away with that in England. Burstow at leasts understands this and puts a shift in. I feel that one goal could spark him although I'd love to see what the other two lads can offer as well.

I don't think he's shown much at all tbh and isn't a goal threat

Rusyn been away on International duty so not the ideal time to throw him in imo but I am keen to see him down the centre. Burstow gets the shirt again for me but might be his last chance to impress before we change something. If Neil, Ekwah, Jobe & Dack are all available for selection against Leicester I can see us going back to the team that beat Southampton so convincingly.

The thing with Rusyn is he looks very active and fast, you can see our other attackers being able to link up with him and move defenders about. He might end up being a false 9 type of forward but if it improves the attack who cares?

Would give Rusyn a start, but would also encourage Clarke and Roberts/Ba to be trying to play him in more often than Burstow has been. There have been games recently when an early through ball to Burstow would have given the lad a one v one chance but that ball doesn't come. I know TM encourages both to take men on but surely there a times when our striker should get an opportunity to score. FTM

I agree about Burstow. I did say after the youth game the other week that Hemir needs to look enthused and like he wants to play (he really didn’t).

For me, I think Rusyn’s pace and link up ability could push Stoke back more as I fear they’re going to overrun us in midfield.
Only time I can remember us attempting a through ball to a striker is with Rusyn. Could be a useful tactic against Stoke

Fully expect Burstow to start. Not sure that's the right thing tbh. He hasn't looked like scoring at all, he's not even missing chances.

Personally I'd start Hemir, at least he's got into positions to miss chances

Thoughts lads, lasses and other pronouns
Another season without a striker??
