I'm not usually an optimist but I reckon we will win our last four Championship games (weather permitting).

Please note this thread was not posted under the influence of Blue Seat Stand hypothermia!

At the start of the season it was Bunny on 495 FC wkts for DCCC and Chubby on 518.

I think the County Durham Stand Upper must have thought it was 3pm this afternoon seeing as how there wasnt a soul there braving the heights from that time onwards.
I visited up there yesterday to check out the seats I have for the Windies T20, by God it's windy, dread to think what it will be like at 18:30 on September 16th

you were one of 5 i think i counted who stayed in the castle stand for any great stretch after tea.

so we have to assume really then that onions has surpassed brown by now i assume? he must have more than 23 even having missed a fair few games....?

They have probably announced it sometime....not that we'd know with the shite garbled PA we get every game.

Bunny bowled about as well as I've seen him do for a long time today.

Think your being a bit optimistic there Paddy. Declaration on 401 would have given around maybe 1 hours more bowling time today.

It's Derbyshire man. Better teams playing in the NEPL. Them Leicestershire and Northants are an embarrassment to county cricket. Should have promotion and relegation to the minor counties so we can have a proper derby with Northumberland and give the mags a hammering.,Am being facetious though.

Northants beat us earlier in the season didn't they?

Can't tell you for Durham, just going off cricinfo stats for each individual.

DCCC posted on facebook saying he is closing in on simon brown's durham record. according to someone he is currently on 508 so needs 11 more to break that record.

with 5 potential innings left at CLS he should be able to break that hopefully - are there only home games left this year?

We have Worcestershire away starting 25th September a game that I will be attending (well a couple of days at least) weather permitting.

so it is 3 homes on the spin then ending with that one... hopefully onions can overtake simon brown at chester le street

That's right, would like to attend all 3/4 days of the Worcestershire game but Mrs Carlton probably wouldn't put up with that, I can get away with two

I wouldnt worry about that..Derby 49/0 and not looking in any trouble.
No Coggs so lets see what Pringle and Keats can do.

aye, just mentioned coggers on comms.

as you say, will put more work on the rest but with pringle & steel available to spin and Jennings and colly I think we have enough to actually bowl, just whether they can take the wickets

You'd think they would get young Pottsy some kit with his own name on, wearing Stephen Cook's cast off sweater............99-1 Slater b Pringle 57
