Cattermole

Ever considered purchasing a new player that could fill that role ?
Not rocket science is it ?
Seems it is to Short, if I owned the club I would do just that. Just a shame the owner doesn't understand what the club needs.

Problem with Catts is he's only really valuable to the team if he's cleaning up at the back and keeping us a clean sheet, once we go a goal or two down he's basically useless at getting us back in a game. And he loses his head because he knows there's fuck all he can do about the final result when we're trailing, whereas when we're drawing or winning he can be the best player because he's got something to protect.

Hacked account? Or are you referring to the op?
No. He was atrocious today and can have no complain he loses his place

He is good enough, when he's on his game. But to say this was a single 'bad day at the office', as if it was a highly unusual occurrence for Catts, is way wide of the mark.

But Dick knows this, and he has brought M'Vila in as competition.
I've never said that tbf. When he's bad he is really bad.

We're being overrun in midfield so we take a midfielder off and replace him with someone who incapable of keeping the ball or doing anything with it when he has it.

After Catts came off we won the rest of the game 2-1 and Fletcher scored one of the goals. Guess that strategy of Dick's needs some rethinking.

One of Cattermoles biggest fans but he had a nightmare game today, lost his temper and paid for it, hopefully him getting subbed wil teach him to keep his cool hopefully

Has dick commented on the cattermole substitution yet ?

Highly unusual subbing the captain so early
He's not a leader, he doesn't lead by example. O'Shea does. Catts can get other players up for a game, but he's the first to drop his head and do something rash. Dick will have learnt a few lessons today. He should have done his research, but everyone has to learn from their own experiences rather than the past sometimes.

Given the display today and those in pre season I do wonder if his head elsewhere? Something we are not aware of maybe personal. Or maybe thinks Boro should have come in for him given their big spending and getting Downing back. Maybe just had enough. If that's the case I know how he feels. Maybe explains the M'Villa signing? I know nowt! Apologies for the lack of answers.

'Vardy opened the scoring on 11 minutes after directing Marc Albrighton’s left-sided free-kick into the far corner before Mahrez made it 2-0 shortly after with a header from another Albrighton cross. The same player then got the third from a penalty he won after being brought down just inside the Sunderland area by, who else, Lee Cattermole.'
