Cattermole

M'Vila has better passing and vision so I can't see Catts or Rodwell holding down a place and rightly so, Catts is a liability, gives 110% but he isn't good enough. I don't know why he is captain like, he never shows a good example to start with.

At least the defence had some kind of excuse - they've barely played, let alone played together. Cattermole has been the mainstay of this team for years.
Although your right about cattermole there is significant plexperience in the pl ... Three of the four played for advocaat for the majority of his games in charge

Looking at today another defender looks a great nvestment

The fact that Cattermole is one of our best midfielders says a lot. Unless he and others are replaced with quality players we'll never progress. Catts is playing at his level, bottom of the PL. Hopefully M'Vila will replace him and others are brought in soon to strengthen the midfield.

you want Cattermole replaced while we still have rodwell in

There is f***ing no balance of this board whatsoever,He had a bad game for 30 mins so what, have we better midfielders no!

When he has a good game apparently he should be playing for England for which he will never be good enough, when he has a bad game people cannot wait to get stuck in.

Is there no balance/sensible debate with some people

That's an urban myth as well. He gets stuck in when he feels like it but he's one of the first to give up when we go behind. The amount of time he spends with his hands on his hips watching midfielders drift past him is shameful.

It's not one game, he's been like this since he joined. The good games are the anomalies. People wonder why we struggle season after season but still clamour for this f***ing pisshead to be in the starting line up each week.

I certainly wouldn't of gave him another contract, missed a chance there to get rid and bring in quality replacement.

He is good enough and has proved it. He was shit today. It happens.

He is good enough, when he's on his game. But to say this was a single 'bad day at the office', as if it was a highly unusual occurrence for Catts, is way wide of the mark.

But Dick knows this, and he has brought M'Vila in as competition.

Seen it all before. Give him the captains armband and he turns into a numpty.

Hopefully the manager works this one out quickly and finds a new captain.
