He has more good games than bad games and giving him a new contract is cheaper for the club than having to replace him. Lets hope we don't see any more repeat performances like the one he gave down Southampton, where he completely downed tools and was nothing short of a disgrace.

Way to be positive. I don't necessarily think he just gave up. Half of Catts problems is that he cares too much and if things aren't going his way, he gets himself down too much or way too frustrated.

Not saying his Southampton performance wasn't a disgrace mind, but he's the heart and soul of this team.
 
Limited scrapper and we need to replace the likes of him to progress from relegation battles

Disagree, he was on a booking iirc and at 5-0 there wasn't really much point in tear-arseing into challenges etc. Think he was restraining himself in all honesty and being sensible for once, using his head.

There were far, far worse than him that day mind, starting with the excuse of a manager.
