Cattermole & Gibson

Spot on and what's more incredible they both played the whole game, both absolute shite and waste of a wage

Brilliant tactical decision by dumb and dumber.
Duly expect them to be appointed now.
All week on the training ground and that's what they come up with.

and Cattermole, no pressure on the ball
Cattermole never closed down and once pass was made he just walked back and watched as they scored this 5 minutes into the match. Oshea and jones never reacted quick enough typical of this season heads not in the game

These two plus Jones and O’Shea need to have their contacts paid up and released. Never going to happen but it’s criminal the standard they’re at.
very true. Financial matters obviously dictate that they remain with us as we dont want to jettison players that we have paid for, but realistically its so much harder for us to move on with these players clinging on and dragging us down. We have the youth lads coming through, Vaughan, Grabban, Watmore all busting their arses and their hard work isnt matched by these dead weight players.

I think he's been ok all season myself, don't get me wrong, not amazing but seems to have become a throw away comment that he should be peddled. He would be my first choice centre half!

I'm not sure what games you've been watching. O'Shea has cost us goal after goal.

Terrible for Bolton's 3rd goal midweek, it would have been 50/50 if he'd actually been on his toes looking to mark up. Woeful for Boro's goal, let his man go completely, moved about 2 yards, stood in non mans land instead of trying to make up ground.

His general play was OK but the school boy mistakes him and others are making are killing us every week. He should have been released in the summer.

No clean sheets in 16 FFS.

Jos was easily our best player yesterday, he dealt with everything.

People really need to stop trying to label him the scapegoat as he's our best CB. Far bigger problems in the team than him.

After @rocky , I reckon I have defended Catts as much as anyone on here. He has always given 100%, and when he is not playing with injury he has shown himself to be a very good footballer who would get into most teams outside the top six.

What I saw yesterday was a pale shadow of what Catts is capable of. He was so unfit he couldn’t even catch the opposition to foul them.He looked like one of those old punch drunk boxers wheeled out for his final payday. He wasn’t helped by playing alongside a player who was actually more unfit than Catts himself, but that is no excuse.

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it but Gibson’s professionalism was summed up at the start of the second half when instead of joining his team in the warm up, he just walked past them and onto the pitch.

Both players should spend the next two weeks doing a pre season and if they can’t reach the level of fitnesss required they ahouls join Rodwell in the U23.

Absolutely nee defending his performances. Dire

The entire defence has cost us goals. I'm not saying OShea is having a great season, I just think he isn't as bad as some make out. You say no clean sheets in 16, yes, but O Shea only played in some of them. We could highlight goals conceded and blame everyone of the squad for some of them.
