Fully deserved. Hopefully this sets a trend of honours being given exclusively to those who have genuinely contributed to society.

I wont hold my breath. It'll be back to sports personalities, business tycoons, actors and politcians in the next list. Maybe the odd MBE for ordinary folk.

If I was running for office, reforming the honours system would be high on the agenda
