Can't wait for this magical new manager

Think it’s hilarious people think there’s a plan. Everyone honestly forgotten last time we sacked a manager and the total shambles that unfolded.

To transform our young inexperienced foreign misfiring strikers
They might actually let them play as strikers instead of some weird false 9 hybrid oh and they might actually get the wingers to cross a ball in for them too. Maybe the midfielders won’t be too scared to play a ball in behind, even better our fullbacks might overlap instead of trying to be centre midfielders too

Who’s blaming Mowbray?

The Club has made the change mate not me.

But you think Mowbray wasn’t struggling tactically? Plan A very good, when plan A didn’t work, or wasn’t allowed to work, we looked bereft of ideas.

That may change with a new coach, it may not.

Now I fully believe there’s a whole host of mitigating circumstances outside of the Head Coach’s remit but they fall at the feet of the clubs golden boys that are beyond reproach seemingly - and they weren’t going to sack themselves!

You said TM was not moving us forward.
Tactically we were evolving, we had moved on from last year. But we were playing with 10 men with those strikers on the pitch.
Now we know for certain as if we needed telling he was not playing his best team to act as a nursery to players who simply do not have the football intelligence yet if ever to play the way he wanted to benefit of rest of team.
There seems to be a line of thought on here that the rest of the team should be compromised to accommodate these players limitations. Crazy, you play your best team and he didn’t because he was told not to.

You could be right mate im sure I'll revisit your post in a few months
If he can get us playing a system where the striker actually touches the ball and has a shot on target he's better than Mowbray
We'll see with interest
Let's see them in a different system aswell. I'm not willing to write them off yet.
I can't wait to see this new way of playing that you all have in your expert heads. I'm really looking forward to this new manager getting the best out of our strikers

I'm not arsed about just strikers like you seem to be. If the manager can organise us at set pieces, set us up without the ball so we don't concede big chances every time we lose the ball... it would be a good start compared to what we had.

I await with baited breath at your analysis of the next perfect manager who does all those things with this incredibly young squad

Excited to see what this looks like

Mowbray did a good job. But he's showing relegation form over large periods and has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he has any idea how to turn it around.

The club think they can get a better manager. Let's wait and see instead kf going round and round in circles. I won't be crying over an average championship manager, there's plenty more like him.

Like I said you seem to know more about tactics than the rest of us so I can't wait for your analysis of the next manager over the coming months

Huge assumptions there!

We weren’t evolving tactically at all. Any team playing a low block against us recently had a load of joy. And the solution? Play a newbie CB at RB with two right backs by trade in the squad and O’Nien that’s played there regularly?

Hoy 3/4 subs on and hope for the best? Bradley Dack ahead of Pritchard who at least shown previously that he can affect games?

I wasn’t clamouring for Mowbray to go, I hoped he’d be given time to address things cos I feel he’d deserved that.

But I’m not going to stick him up on a pedestal as if he wasn’t part of the issue - along with the club hierarchy!

it will be someone we've probably never heard of who is available immediately - and that's partly why decision has been made now.
We're a too well oiled machine these days to not have a plan in place.
Doesn't have to be someone unemployed - could be someone with a release clause in place

Will start with a couple good results, then we’ll find out it’ll just be another yes man on a bit string. You knew TM was gone the other day when he came out with them comments.
