Cant understand why Pritchard hasn't been offered.

He wanted to move back to near Essex with gf and horses, but no one came in for him in the summer. Been on a big wage when you have Adil and others in that role also, you need to let some go. I could see him, Evans and Dack leaving in January maybe

Hmmm. Norwich, Ipswich, Southend, Colchester, Orient, Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Luton, Watford, Reading, Wycombe, QPR, Wimbledon, Charlton, Millwall, Gillingham, MKD. I’m struggling now…….Oxford, Pompey, Soton, Swindon? Then you’re up into the East Midlands Derby, Forest, Leics or even Cov etc.

Its nothing person, its just the model of bringing in young players, cheaply on low wages, and developing them into £10m+ players to make the club run at a profit, which ultimately funds the growth.

The squad needs better balance though, as we also need a few experienced pros to help the young lads - but we have about 27 attacking midfielders at the moment, and here we have one such experienced pro playing in the same position.

Is Evans anywhere near fit? I think maybe Dack came as Pritchard was expected to leave. No need for both imho.

Maybe can't afford his wages

Did you notice Farke with his arm around Pritchard having a prolonged chat with him when the match finished. Hope an offer from Leeds is not around the corner.

It's almost certainly the wage. And at 30 I think they reckon they can get 2-3 wunderkind for the price. Maybe they can, but it seems harsh. Be such a shame to see him go, but a travesty if he goes for nowt. Surely a one year contract and sold for a few in the summer is the best all round solution.
Most teams don’t pay fees for 30 yr olds anymore. Maybe not as strict as we are on age limit but he wouldn’t fetch a fee, he’d remain on the wage bill. I think they’ll wait and see how we’re looking.

so we cant have 2 players for each position - adil / pritch?

Could we not just flog Ba, evans and dack as they arent worth keeping whereas pritch is. Just a thought for an 'ambitious' club

It would not surprise me if Pritchard coveted more ground than anyone onnthr pitch today. I think his stamina criticism is sometimes a bit misplaced.
Bloke runs himself into the ground. Probably needs taking off for his own good sometimes.

Said at the Hall of Fame he was waiting for clearance to start contact work. Probably back New Year ish

This ! Farke was probably saying “I can’t believe they’re trying to get rid of you, we’ll pay you more and give you a two year deal.”

He has abundance of energy and perhaps runs himself into the ground. However at times his touch and his ability to pick a pass is a joy to watch, just take a look at his involment in last nights goal. He's definitely earned a new contract
