Canon EOS 400D DS126151

I know nowt about cameras, but I've just been gifted one of these. Is it worth anything if I was to sell it second hand? It hasn't got a battery but I've been assured it's in perfect working condition.

My first digital SLR many years ago.

Its not a bad little camera, but it won't be worth anything these days and obviously even entry level cameras are now way better.

If you are interested, its probably worth spending a few quid on a non-canon battery (Amazon/Ebay) - I am assuming it came with a CF memory card? - if so the card is probably worth as much as the camera

If you aren't interested it will probably hardly be worth the effort to sell it.

Did it come with a lens? If so what is that?

The first 18-55 (which will be what came with that camera) is quite poor and worthless. If it is the newer IS version, its not too bad. That price range sounds about right for the newer version I would have thought.
