Can we win 7 in a row ?

Portsmouth and Luton play each other soon, with the former having a game against Doncaster and the latter one with Peterborough. Here’s hoping they draw with each other and in their other games.

We’ve played Charlton & Luton twice now who are probably our biggest promotion rivals.

6 points from 12. Not an amazing return. We are still in the hunt though.

2,800 visiting mags tells me it was like;)

As the Woking manager said last weekend, 'If your tired, go to bed earlier'.

We should be more than capable of winning both promotion and the Checkatrade. We are the favourites for that competition, we are in the quarter finals at home and its the best chance most of us will ever get of seeing out team lift a trophy at Wembley. Yet you want us to throw it?

Both Luton and Pompey are still in the FA Cup by the way and we are not. Pompey are also still in the Checkatrade as well. Be careful what you wish for mate as some time in the future we will be back floating around the bottom of the premier league desperately trying to scrape enough points together so we can do the whole sorry thing again the next season and throwing every cup game just to rest our overpaid under performing first team in the hope they can keep us on the PL gravy train, going months on end without winning a home game (or indeed any game) and seasons like this one will be a distant and happy memory. Lets take full advantage and win both the trophies we are still in for, because we can only do that while we are down here.
What a speech mate, if Ross says that in the dressing room he'll have them running through walls!

You are absolutely spot on.

Next 10 games are massive. If we can take 24+ points (8 wins or 7 wins & 3 draws)

Scunthorpe (A) - 15th
Wimbledon - (H) - 24th
Oxford - (A) - 21st
Blackpool - (H) - 9th
Accrington - (H) - 14th
Gillingham - (H) - 17th
Bristol Rovers - (A) - 20th
Plymouth - (H) - 23rd
Accrington - (A) - 14th
Wycombe - (A) - 13th

All winnable games but will be difficult. We need to start putting games to bed when we get our chances

Our next 7 games are all winnable - so it will be 2 wins 5 draws

A derby is our first team vs theirs. Any other game is irrelevant. If we'd have lost we wouldn't have lost a derby but they would have loved to have claimed we had just because it's been so long since they won one.

I'm with you there mate. All those mags came down to that game to see what attacking attractive football looks like. Even all those extra ones who couldn't get tickets, they weren't arsed either. I'm actually ashamed we only won 4-0. (Sings to himself) We only 4-0, we only won 4-0.

Even W6, D2, L2 (20 pts from 10 games) will keep us on track for 2 pts a game, as we are at the moment. 92 pts will get promoted, no question.

Luton are not on 2 pts a game at the mo.

But 20 pts from those 10 games is not enough someone will say, Barnsley away and others to follow.

A draw at Barnsley will keep them at bay. Then the following 6:
H Walsall
A Fleetwood
H Burton
A Rochdale
H Coventry
H Donny

It's in hand, we're on track.

Agree, we're capable of winning all 10. I'd be happy with 20 points. As long as we're in the top 2 come the end of the season i'd be happy
