Can we all calm down & breathe

Stuani and Negredo were the difference between the sides today. Boro are going to win a few games because of these two, but on the whole, they look just as average as we did today, and could well struggle as the season unfolds. There were a few things to be positive about with our performance today. Pienaar looks like he knows what he's doing and can pick a pass. He put a shift in too. Bodji looks very steady - I thought that was a composed debut and he gets his head up and looks comfortable on the ball. He improved as the game went on. Gooch and Janusaj look like they have strengths to their game that will improve further given time. For me, there wasn't enough outfield experience on the field in the first half with Defoe, O'Shea and Van Aarnholt being our regulars. With the addition of the more experienced Pienaar and Lens, I thought we were half decent and not as bad as some are making out. Moving forward, I can see the makings of a steady side here. My big worry today was the performance of Defoe. He displayed his frustrations from the off with some of his team-mates. He appeared off the pace, disinterested and pissed-off.

I noticed this also about Defoe was worrying

Agreed, people saying Moyes out, short out etc where do we go from there??

Moyes has to be a long term appointment, he will get it right,

Pineaar and Lens looked positive today and Gooch showed potential,

Januszaj will get better and the new centre half showed some good touches.

Sign a RB, striker and couple midfielders and we should be ok.

36 games to go.......
Away with you and your sensible words man

What a demise since Everton at home, 3 months and short and moyes are single handedly relegating us.

A million % this ^^^^^ first coffee sorted now back on the road again long way yet to go before I'm home. We did well today considering and I've had an email from that nice Mr Moyes and he even addressed it to me :D
Safe journey marra. Where's home, I.e. How far you travelling?

Mag? Welcome to the board. If you don't praise Ellis Short to the rafters we will categorise you as a mag.

Do you not think you might be part of the problem rather than the solution if that's your attitude?
Nice first post too. Please go away.

South Somerset. 20 miles of roadworks on the M5 whee!!

Moyes needs to pull the biggest mother f***ing rabbits out of the biggest mother f***ing hat of all time. It's not happening though is it.
Listen.. I like Moyes and I thought he was right for us after Sam... But I don't understand why he keeps waffling on about signing youngsters... He did that years ago with Everton but the game has changed.
I'm really concerned how he keeps going on about it when what we need is experienced players to go straight into the squad.

M'Villa, Evans, Shawcross (no chance I know) , etc

This season will be similar to those in recent years. Will we stay up ? Not really bothered if we go down, there is life outside the Prem..
