Can we all calm down & breathe

For me I think we can almost write off the next three or four games. Anything we can get from them is a bonus. The FA wanted Sam. Sam wanted to get the England job. It took a few weeks to sort out. I can understand how Short didnt want to throw money about, only for a new manager to come in and have none to spend with players he didnt buy.
In effect, Moyes is still in a "pre season" phase, except we have to play league games. Nobody seemed aware of Kabouls issues. Kone has decided to behave in the way he has in order to force a move. All issues that can be sorted, but it needs a bit of time. Most of the lads who have come in were not meant to be automatic first choices. However, they have been pressed into action due to circumstances. Moyes knows we need more bodies, and more importantly more quality. If at the end of September things are still the same then I would be worried, but for now I agree - try and keep cool.
Yes it hurts to get beat (and I have to work in Boro!) but I think we can see the reasons. The question for me is if they are sorted out properly. That will be a true measure of the club. Not a defeat against a team who were poor but scored a wondergoal!

Agreed, people saying Moyes out, short out etc where do we go from there??

Moyes has to be a long term appointment, he will get it right,

Pineaar and Lens looked positive today and Gooch showed potential,

Januszaj will get better and the new centre half showed some good touches.

Sign a RB, striker and couple midfielders and we should be ok.

36 games to go.......

Seriously who has said Moyes out? name and shame them then

A million % this ^^^^^ first coffee sorted now back on the road again long way yet to go before I'm home. We did well today considering and I've had an email from that nice Mr Moyes and he even addressed it to me :D

Not overly worried yet, can live in hope that something good happens in the remainder of the transfer season.Like usual ( as this was just another game ) i got over the result in a matter of minutes.Boro looked tidy enough at times but i was happy with our 2nd half performance and it gives you hope for what might happen, when injuries return and maybe new signings come in.Let Boro have their day big themselves up to be whatever, new teams usually do well at the start but i have a feeling when they play better teams, which is basically 75% of the league , they will not be so fortunate. The rock solid defence they believe to have, was opened time and again by a really thin side who couldn't deliver an end product.

You mean our make shift defence? we had a right back at centre half.
Our best defender was recovering from injury on the bench.

I would hardly say you opened us up time and again
