Never even knew chocolate spread existed in the 70s. It was always jam or sugar on our bread.
Aye, might have been a bit earlier than I thought but can't remember it existing for most of the 70s.
Surprised the healthy eating twats haven't banned it.Jam or Sugar, times hard then, nee margarine or butter? We used to have that Fussels milk on bread and butter, the little Hovis wholemeal penny loaves - the really thick milk like a sweet cream, is it condensed stuff put on bread to shut us up.
Still have the taste for it now and again and eat it with a teaspoon (lush) and good memories as well.
