I'm looking for a new camera. I am not a photographer or anything but I would like a camera that takes a half decent shot without too much tinkering with the settings.

I did try getting into photography a few year ago but it wasn't really for me.

Looking for something quite compact currently got a fuji bridge camera and it's too heavy and bulky to carry about.

Been looking at the travel compacts and seen these 2 I like

Are they any good or not or is there any other camera I should consider ? budget is round about the £300 mark.

Got a Panasonic TZ80 last week which with cash back offer works out at just over £300...seems to be pretty good so far and has this 4k gubbins which allows you to take a quality still from a short video. Good to play around with and very light ....with a useful viewfinder as well which could be good if the sun ever comes out!
