C.V. review

Loads but they'll say its shite and ask you to pay for them to redo it. I paid cv centre to do mine about 10 years ago and its got me my last 3-4 jobs and countless phone calls

oh yeah, how much? I might try this as I need some guidance.

do you just send current one or send like more details too?

You don’t need a CV checker.

2 pages max, personal details, qualifications, personal statement that shows a bit about your strengths and your character.

Job history in chronological order (most recent first). Give demonstrable examples next to most recent.

Anything over ten years, list but don’t explain.

Education and courses attended.

References, driving licence, citizenship.

No gimmicks, maybe a border around the page.

Page numbers and version history in footer.

Make sure font and all formatting is consistent.

End.

That’ll be £100 please.

Places still take CVs? Every job I've gone for in the last 10 years have had their own application form. Even if I was handing in a CV I would be writing a covering statement that is specific to that post anyway.
