Buying Tickets for the match -WTF ?

Update : I had to register my 11 year old daughter with my second email address and add her to my ticketing network so she could buy the 4 kids tickets and I bought the 5 adults. What a shambles. I've read the numerous ticketing threads over the last couple of years and not really appreciated the gravity of how un-user friendly it is. I do now. Cheers for the replies lads and lasses. Looking forward to seeing my first league win in 30years. They've never won any league match I've been to, in the time I've lived in Australia.

All the best with it mate.

Very very frustrating.

Those at the club responsible for this really should be looking for new employment. The ticketing procedures and merchandise are an embarrassment for a club of SAFCs statue.

Any chance you could just wait in the colliery or some other drinking establishment and let the other 8 watch a victory you jinx?

It is mental mind, just like the kids kits things last season. Cousin with thick end of £250 waiting to get kits for his two kids and everytime he went in they'd have none left and couldn't get tell him when they'd have more mental.

Don't go on Ticketmaster @SydneyFan. You will only get this message:

I get that message when I go on with my kindle, if I use my phone, I dont. I think it's something to do with the browser that's used.
Either way, they need to get them to sort it out.

Can't you go and watch the mags instead.

I'm over in the UK for Xmas New year and we have friends visiting from Ireland. We're all keen to take in a game and so I tried to buy tickets for Preston. There's 9 of us, 5 adults and 4 kids. I can't believe that I can't buy a kids ticket under my account that I setup and I have to set up a second kids account. I've bought tickets my whole life for events all over the world and never had this before. What sort of a backward setup is this ?
You need to setup an account for each person, then you link them together.

I didn’t know this either so I bought my kid an adult ticket for Swansea away.

Then at half time I spoke to my brother’s mate who told me that my kid already has an account that they use!

It’s a fcuk on but it stops people using tickets that are in an incorrect age category. I.e. adults using junior/OAP.

Now just wait until you try and get everyone through the turnstiles when all the tickets are on your phone! You only get a few seconds to scan each ticket through before you are blocked.

I’d recommend you get there early.

Does it though? You could set an account up for Donald Duck aged 13 and they wouldn’t have a clue.

That’d be quackers! I don’t know, to be honest. I guess that it stops any ‘casual’ purchaser who can’t or won’t be arsed to jump through the hoops?

We are ran by idiots marra.
Took me over an hour to buy my first of the season a few weeks back and I’m an exiled ex ST holder.

The club owners are too stupid to realise that converting casual fans to regular fans and regular fans to ST holders is the way they can grow the crowds. That’s a far more likely route than virgins to ST holders in one fell swoop. It’s as if there’s someone in power ower there that doesn’t want SAFC to achieve its maximum potential. A 21st century Mr Smith?

Yep I set up a kids account to buy the 4 kids tickets. I'm sure here when you scan at the turnstile it shows up whether it's an adult or kids ticket and it's generally policed at the turnstile.

I know the forums and Guinness Guzzler do a great job but sadly it never changes.

We need to have much more customer focus and just make it easier for people to put money into the club through easy ticketing arrangements.
Hopefully the new bloke, Bruce is it? Is all over this, a few posters on here seem to know him so he must be well aware of the areas for improvement.
