Buying digital code from amazon.

How do they work? I fancy Forza 7 and you can buy it digitally from amazon for £41 which is a canny price but ive never bought a digital game from them before. Is it as simple as they send me the code and i enter it on the redeem code section on the xbox dashboard?

Never bought a full release but they email me beta codes not a problem. Same with PS+ months.
