Gardner will be a regular. Westwood playing instead of Mignolet won't affect Sunderland's play.

What makes you say Gardner will be a regular when he has been probably the worst of all of our CM's this summer with the excpetion of Catts, who is always guranteed a start so long as Bruce manages?

And even including him, that's 6. 6 plays is 5 players away from being our first 11, so, as I said, there's quie a big difference between that and our best 11.

People like you have an excuse for everything. You play to win regardless of it being a pre-season friendly or not. I realise it doesn't count for anything but we've shown very little to suggest we're going to hit the ground running. Out of our new singins, how many have scored again? Isn't it only Wickham?

Much like last season we're also struggling to create opportunities. We just haven't got the quality. If anything should happen to Gyan or Sessegnon we'll struggle big time.

You get f***ing stupider with every post, which I didnt think was possible.

Pre-season is about getting fit, do you understand that?

So are Liverpool fucked because they got hammered by Hull City?

What was Liverpool's starting line-up against Hull?

You can't make a post without getting personal can you?

They had one first team regular starting in those games.

This.

We're near to the end of our pre-season. We have a strong side out and we can't get the better of Burnley! It's not so much the score but we really should be creating more opportunities and taking charge of games like this regardless of it being a pre-season friendly. There are too many excusers on here.

i like to do both.

Apparently if you don't agree and support every decision the club, Bruce and Quinn make you're not a Sunderland supporter mate. Also realism is a foreign word around these parts.

No way would you say that the team we started with was strong side if we fielded it outside of a friendly.

We're talking about 10 players, the GK doesn't count. Do you think Sunderland would be better today with Mignolet, we'd create more chances, score more goals with him playing before Westwood?
We're missing 4 players: Sess, O'Shea, Larsson and maybe Vaughan.

Garnder isn't a guranteed starter, he's got to prove himself over Colback, and Vaughan, and he hasn't. Bramble isn't, I'd say it's going to be between Turner and Bramble to partner Brown. Bardlsey isn't going to get in over O Shea at RB or Rico at LB.I already mentioned Gyan, Brown, Cattermole and Gyan. You can read, aye?

So yes, very far from our first 11. 4, at most, 5.

I think you're kidding yourself. He wont have paid that money for Gardener to sit it out. Also due to the fact all of the back four you named are prone to picking up injuries I dare say Bardsley will feature a lot again and I'd be amazed if Richardson wasn't moved around.

They had one first team regular starting in those games.

They had Carragher, Kelly, Maci Rodriguez, Aquilani all starting vs Hull, Carroll, Henderson, Kyrgiakos, Kuyt, Downing, Spearing, Adam, Insua and Flanagan all played 45 minutes too.
