Burnley v Everton kick off 1230 BT Sport 1 & Ultimate

Bit naughty by Gomes
Foul in the build up surely
Maybe not. Tried to buy the free kick and cost his team the goal. Embarrassing. Burnley looked comfortable too

Tbh if he wasnt local we would too.
The criticism is generally justified. We give him latitude. He's there to be shot at as England keeper
There is no hiding from his mistakes and, yes, he is a local lad....but I don’t think that Gary Neville (and others) give him a fair crack of the whip. I try to just take each ‘incident’ on it’s individual merit, but there are too many pundits out there hoping for his next mistake (or conceived mistake) so they can crucify him.
Pisses me right off.

I haven’t seen any of the action so I’m in no position to comment yet.
The goal Everton conceded today didn’t go just inside the post.Keepers tend to be a tad further off the line than is necessary for my liking with shots from such distance.A yard but no more that two yards nearer the goal line would give keepers that extra time to get across. He’s not the only keeper who does this mind.
