So they blew £1bn on PPE that didn't exist, and now they're burning stuff they "don't need"? Why not send it to countries who could use it?!

Well, its not fit for purpose as PPE, but I agree that there should be some effort to make some use of it rather than just burning it all.

We should also be seeking refunds from the suppliers - although I suspect all of those companies that were set up just to sell these and earned the huge contracts have already been liquidated. It is fraud though, so surely that is grounds to go after the directors.
