We got a Hisense 43 inch last year for this very same reason - to use as a secondary telly. Was about £350 quid. Its absolutely fine for streaming the footy and that. Google up and find the best picture settings for it.
I would never spend 2 grand on a telly mind.

You will go bong eyed with a screen that size man. I don't watch enough telly to justify it. We only have 2 tellys in the house one at either end of our downstairs living space. One is a winter telly at the front when we sit with the wood burner on and one is a summer telly at the back when we sit on a nice summers night with the back doors open (oooo errrrr
). I have got 3 sofas mind

You can get the 65" one for a lot less than the amazon price.

They have the 65" in for £1900.
Havent used it for gaming.
