Absolutely not true. Take it from someone who knows.

There will be no bubble whatsoever. In fact there will be no segregation for the walk to the ground. Just police officers walking amongst the supporters. It'll work really well in my opinion.

You're talking as if its a new thing (that is exactly the same as last year)

Why send the buses to the city centre if not to deter people from the metros on to there and if there is no worries at the other end re segregation? Surely everyone who would want to get the bus would go to the ground as usual.

I have to say, got the bus last year. It was no bother, bit of a fanny on to go to Newcastle from Consett via Sunderland. However, bit of bait in Spoons walk along have a pint or 2 in the fan zone then get the bus.

So why is it different when they play at SOL?
I honestly don't know to be perfectly honest. I guess that it might be to do with the fact it is very easy to segregate at the SOL (metro station and industrial estate can be blocked off) whereas that is impossible in Newcastle.

Because 1) people like to drink in town
2) if the numbers are more than expected/it lashes down with rain/ people get sick of waiting for a metro

Then the bus is there as an option. Stop looking for something to be wrong

Between 25-30 coaches from SAFC, how many from the branches ?, so around 1 400 supporters will be using the bus service, and 1 200 using the metro, wont happen , but if more fans want to use the buses on the way back ?

So basicaly you confirming what i said then.

people only get sick of waiting and possibly soaked because the coppers block the doors for ages and make it as awkward as possible at this end.

"Northern Rail will also be providing a direct train service from St Peter's station in Sunderland to Newcastle Central Station specifically for supporters travelling to the match - this will leave at 11.55am."

I don't get this bit. Why is there a train starting its journey from St Peters?

I can see that, but it doesnt make sense. The reason was supposed to be less policing, they dont treat it the same way when they play us, its just off you go up there, why should they be escorted and have their arses wiped when our lads have to walk through the manky bastards?

it makes sense using the free buses as they appear to be quicker and safer, however you get there and back be careful

That's not what I said at all but you clearly have an agenda so crack on.
