They're good swag when you strike it lucky with a sweeter batch rather than ones so bitter they make your world shrink.

They need to be hit with a frost to help the natural sweetness to develop.

Don't like them but my mam always got me to eat 4 on my Xmas dinner. She passed away 15 year ago but I still eat my 4 every year. Our lass tried to be sneaky and put six on my plate last year. When I'd finished my dinner 2 remained on the plate.

No. I cut them in half and fry them with garlic and pancetta.
