maybe cost us the game as he was awful, especially the second half. never once tackled and catts had to do the work of two in the middle. maybe time to take him out the limelight for a bit, although this wont happen i think he would benefit from it

He's played in just about every game. League, U21s, England v France. No wonder he's fucked. He needs a break simple as that.

He was alright first half, but he showed again that he can't control a game. maybe a 20 year old shouldn't be able to do that, but more than anything he's a cm in a premier league team, so that should be one of the requirements. Elmo on right and Zenden tucked in would have been good second half.

Catts on the other hand had another good game and is starting to look more dangerous in attack as well.

Don't think anyone could disagree mate. But playing 3 games in just over a week is a lot to ask for such a young lad. Especially given that one game was an international and one was against Chelsea. He'll benefit from not having a game this week and will be back against Wolves.

agree Henderson should have been taken off a lot earlier.
he was very poor.
The new Ryan Giggs?
My big fat backside
He runs around a lot and covers a lot of ground but he can't shoot,
can't heed a ball, can't tackle and his positional play is poor.
What positive thing has he done apart from one cross against Wigan and one pass to Gyan against Chelsea.
He's a young lad but he's never in a million years gonna be a world beater.
He's a water carrier at best.
If we get offered silly money in Jan with a good swap take it.

he needs to play on the right. Just stop writing him off man he's a top player

What a heap of stinking shite. Embarrassing post.

I don't understand why when just about every midfielders been given a rest, the 20 year old lad thats dipped in form a bit hasn't

Awful is a bit strong. He may not have been at his best tonight but don't forget that he has been our most consistent midfielder since the start of last season. Players, especially young players, cannot be brilliant every single game. He will be one of the first names on the teamsheet for Wolves away and rightly so.

Brilliant.

not embarrassed at all

Jordan poor lad has been overhyped and overated imo

Every sentence of your post given it's own line...as if each one was it's own pearl of wisdom that

Should...

Not...

Be...

Missed.

You might not be embarrased, but I am for you.

The problem was his second touch was a tackle

I may be in the minority here but it'll be a good thing to sell Henderson on 2 conditions, 1. the price is right and 2. the money is used for a goalscoring midfielder

I posted earlier that he never made one meaningful full blooded tackle. Great potential, but it only takes one good tackle to put your stamp on a game.

Henderson was shit scared of anything requiring him to put his boot/head in. Should be thinking about the bumps and bruises after the game, not during it.

Something put the shits up him during england training? He's usually just after bramble and catts when he's needed to put his body on the line.

Glad it wasn't just me who saw it.
