Bruce IN or OUT poll

I have misgivings about the way Bruce has handled things with both Gyan and Bent, however, I'm reluctant to say 'Bruce Out' for two very good reasons.

1) Who will readily come in his place? I've heard fans say O'Neil, however, would he even want to manage again. Who do we get if he won't come? That worries me.

2) A new manager will want to structure the side their way. However, until at least January that manager will have to make do with Bruce's buys. The best time to change over will be at the end of the season when a new manager has the summer to rebuild the squad. At the worst, late December with the January transfer window ahead is probably the best time for a changeover.

Reluctantly, Bruce in because I think the time is wrong.

if Bruce is still here in January we will be relegated

I'd love him to prove us wrong - really, and all fans without an agenda should. But how long do we go with him doing his best to prove us right before we make the change? How much of a risk of relegation do we put in front of a prospective new manager? WE CANNOT wait until the next transfer window opens if he has not amazed us.

I'm coming around to the idea he has three games to get this carpet airborne again, after which we cut our losses and (shudder) start again. 7 points - no less.

We risk that with a new manager working with players that aren't his.

I've seen the Bruce Out Facebook page (and the 'Bruce is a t**r' poster - childish) and I don't think a full scale witch hunt is in the interests of the club.

As I said, this is the worng time. Back in August before the transfer window closed, I'd have been more agreeable.

I remain fully behind him. I can see the progress we as a club have made. It not the ideal start to the campaign but could be alot worse.

Defensively we look good. Just need to the goal to come.

2-1 against chelsea not a bad result

Chelsea didnt need to break sweat, they were in 2nd gear all afternoon. They spent the last 30 minutes planning for Tuesday nights game.

Re: Bruce Poll

I'd like to see how we get on against Stoke first, and then decide.
