Although I think he's effectively finished now, I believe he'll be given another couple of months to improve things (which he wont) but one of the biggest factors will be the dwindling crowds. It's pretty obvious he's losing the club the backing of the "occasional" supporters that SAFC desperately need.

saturday night when we havent 3 points and the stadium only has 30k in is when he'll go....believe me...

but getting closer are you staying up for the full 36 hours?

Probably. Got a 5 week old who's refusing to sleep so I'm up for the forseable future anyway. How about you ?

would be better if we had more news on who is coming in rather than just waiting on his departure! any ideas who we might get?

Since he has been here all of his policies and tactics have all resulted in failure.
Why should things change?

Measured against what? He's brought some cracking players to the club. We're still up there, as far as we know through no fault of his own he's lost some good players we've profited on. In my view this alone is something new for us and amounts to progress. Call me small minded as much as you wish but in my time we've never had it so good. Down to him, Quinn, or Short, I don't know but what the fuck, I'll take it for now.

This. My bed sheets are also dry.

I have no reason whatsoever to doubt there was 'a meeting' in London yesterday.

However, Short has offices in London and has done for ages. The SAFC commercial department is being completely overhauled with a lot of work now being undertaken out of the London office.

A delegation from SAFC is flying out to Korea on 10/10/11 to develop business contacts and hopefully pull new deals into the club.

It may just be me putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 but I would guess that the meeting is more likely to be about this upcoming trip than sacking the manager. Which is not to say it may come up as 'AOB' on the agenda.

You might be right but I don't think the club can afford to wait that long. Bear in mind we have the traditional Bruce mid season slump to contend with, even if he garnered enough points to keep us, say lower mid-table in the next 2 months, we will still end up struggling badly later in the season.

Who could attract the occasional supporters? Martin O Neill for me.

How many hours left? it is like Independance day for Brucey, not only is he enjoying a Domino pizza during these dark times he is trawling around the hotels of the north east nicking their dressing gowns.
