Broadhead.

Apparently Broadhead is 'very cautious' of playing if he doesn't feel 100% 'fit' .
There have players in the past who have ended frightened to sprint, after multiple injuries. I'm sure Michael Owen said that was part of the reasons he lost his pace - that he always held back from going hell for leather after a ball, because he was frightened he'd get injured again.

Yeah he did. He said mentally it ruined his career.

it is when we played 55 games.
Yes, for a player who is probably not going to be a first XI nailed on anyway.

He was second choice behind Stewart in most formations. Aye, we got em on pitch together sometime, but I think the manager next year will 100% not be playing two up top or three at the back (which tend to go together these days).

We should be looking for three strikers: Stewart, Broadhead and one other.

People go on about his injury record, but he had 27 appearances for us last year.

That's not all that bad, is it?

f***ing worth £500k of anyone's money. Lad clearly has a high ceiling. Even if he was as injured as last year, he'd be decent.
Have to be a little careful with it. Although the appearance number wasn’t bad, he actually played the same league minutes as Dajaku this season - and only 200 mins more than Matete. I’d certainly sign him, but there’s definitely risk there.

If we sign Broadhead, I actually feel we still need another two strikers.

Other than those fortunate enough to be on the radars of the top 4, most players don't give a toss about the size of a club they're signing for. It all comes down to wages as the only thing that matters.

It's how you end up with the likes of Defoe at Bournemouth, Eriksen at Brentford etc.

Some don't even care about playing man! Look at past examples of Steve Harper at the Mags and Nigel Clough at Liverpool. Both could've walked into other teams - but were happy to pick up megabucks for effectively reserve team football.
