He’ll probably be injured and miss his chance to shine in pre season and end up here late on.
The thing is - the joke isn’t even old. It’s accurate. He’s even pulled out of the latest Wales squad due to injury - after playing 5 mins at Wembley. I’ve never know one man be so injury prone. If I was religious, I would pray that this current one was the last. We’ve got to be realistic, but realism is so depressing in this case!

I really like him as a player but unless it’s a free transfer (which I doubt it would be) i’d be prioritising looking elsewhere. He’s a massive gamble with any sort of fee really.

If that’s true I suppose it depends on whether Broadhead thinks he’s got a chance to make Everton’s first team.

If not I think we’ve got a decent chance of getting him here. That said we don’t need another Borini type saga where we chase a player who has zero interest in coming back here.
Everton neatly got relegated so I doubt they'll be pinning their hopes on a forward who has spent the season on loan in league one and been injured for a decent chunk of it.

I'd say between 500 grand and a million considering he's in the last year of his contract.

The next Luke Garbutt- kept under contract with Everton until his mid-20s and then signed by a newly promoted Championship club.

Is he actually injured that much or does he need to see a psychiatrist? Sure I read an interview before that suggested half the issue was mental as opposed to physical.

No idea if I'm honest mate, I just thought if they were susceptible there wasn't much you could do
Doctor google says there are lots of ways for what it’s worth but it would be interesting to hear from someone who actually knows.

In the meantime I’ll just live in hope that he comes back with new legs next season and tears up the championship. It’s that time of year!😂

Is he really injury prone or did he just have a bad time this season?

Hamstring injury at Burton in his previous loan, that ended his season early. He also only played 2 sub apps in the December and January through injury.

He also missed half-a-dozen games for us around October time(?) with a hamstring injury, before a bad hamstring injury in the Arsenal Cup tie in January, and then he's played sporadically for us since April. And now he's injured again :D

He clearly wasn’t fully fit as he came back in, Neil was managing his minutes for weeks. No way could he have played 90 at Wembley. Suspect he’s just making sure he’s right for next season. It’s not uncommon for young players to get muscle injuries. Get fully recovered and go again next year. (hope I‘m right!)

Apparently Broadhead is 'very cautious' of playing if he doesn't feel 100% 'fit' .
