Given the distance, it has to go down as possible, but not probable. To be fair, anything more than 3,000 will be a great effort.
I do agree but it is the first game of the season? It's normally the one that people are keenest for.

If the club put it on gen sale for long enough I reckon we might be able to do it (people getting mates to come, booking weekends down there etc.)

First game back in the Championship, Saturday 3pm kick off. I’m pretty confident we’ll sell a few thousand if we get that many.

Im excited for this. The last one was absolutely mental.

We got to a pub near Temple Meads called the Ship Inn for the 12:30 KO (North London Derby) and im not one to get smashed before a game, but that day was carnage. We were doing sambucas and jaegars at 14:30. Got a taxi about 10 mins before KO, arrived bang on kick off. Just about to go back for the second half ( which had started) and thought we heard the cheer of a 4th goal and said sod it, lets go back to the ship. So we essentially hijcked a minibus and filled it with about 16 Sunderland fans. Went back to the pub and watched Final score as it went 0-3, 1-3, 2-3, 3-3

I asked the landlord if Bristol fans would be alright with us after the game and his words were “the amount of money you northern wankers are spending ill be telling the locals to fuck off”

Will be in the Ship before and after again but this time the full 90 mins aswell and in a better state
Lads Lads Lads

Hopefully tickets should be out soon, they are selling to home fans already. Got the whole of the Atyeo Stand marked out for away fans.

Last time we were there we got 3,400

Yeah, given 3400.......sold only 1500.

Half of whom left at half-time........those of us with a little more faith, and who stayed for the 2nd half........the rest you know

One of two awaydays I'm not doing, Reading the other ( unless Sky really fcukaroundaround with changing dates.)

Doing:
Dundee United A
Hartlepool A
Coventry City H
QPR H
Sheffield United A
Stoke City A
And possibly Norwich or Rotherham H

5000 miles by the end of August, so Bristol City is a no-no.I

Part-timer, I know
Should be ashamed of yourself.

Should be ashamed of yourself.

I know, shameful isn't it??

Reciting my 20 Hail Marys as I type this

Eastbourne to Bristol is one of my easiest away days this season, but after my July/August spurt, I'll leave it to others.

September's fixtures not too taxing, looking forward to Boro away, when they eventually fix a date and ko time.

October's fixtures.........christ, might be easier to rent a flat in Roker for the month, the miles I'll be travelling 👍 FTM

It's good for the soul. I shudder to think what my annual mileage is.

Is capacity permanently reduced in the Atyeo Stand? Saw a few games last season and they had tarps over front few rows.
