A lot are saying that there is no chance we would get BSA back. I hope that they are the same people that assured us that he would never get the England job.

Aye but even if there's 95% Sunderland fans do you think it's representative?

I do think it's representative to a degree. As I said maybe a 5% range of error.

Sam was popular. He was bullish, positive and overall did a very good job. He left for a chance of his dream job and it went sour. His replacement has failed in improving the squad in the transfer window and of getting a win in 8 trys against some very poor sides.

I've voted and I'm a season ticket holder of 25 years standing. A normal supporter.

So we're saying 3/4 of fans want Sam to replace Moyes? What the fuck have we done to our club over the last few year.

Always the manager...

"David Moyes would like to manage Scotland in the future - but he fears they simply aren't good enough right now." (Mail online)
Not good enough right now: you have to smile.

100% behind this. Anyone who isn't is accepting relegation.
And anyone who is behind it is possibly accepting points deuctions and transfer embargos at the very worst and at the least is the FA and everyone else poking their noses right up our arseholes over every bit of business he does. Despite what he may have or may not have done for us this season he is very damaged goods. We`d have less scrutiny and dressing room disruption if we signed Peter Sutcliffe as gaffer

now thats an Idea. Will the SFA do a swapsies? Even the Ginger gremlin they`ve got would be an improvement

When Sam comes back -anywhere- he might as well have an archery target painted on his back. Everything he does transfer-wise will have the press crawling all over it. If he strays from absolutely squeaky clean, they and the FA will be looking to nail him. And it will be the club he goes to which will suffer.

The FA have gone very quiet on the subject but I think as soon as he rears his head anytime over the next couple of years they`ll nail him with a ban or something

We've employed some poor managers. Martin O'Neill and David Moyes were good choices on paper but O'Neill turned sour quickly. With Moyes it looks like history is repeating itself.

People can slag Short or the club off but Sam Allardyce used the resources available to him to buy 3 players to turn a very poor side into one that was hard to beat, stayed up and gave me the genuine belief that we could move on from being perennial strugglers to a mid table side.

Moyes' team, with his additions, costing in the region of £30M, twice as much as Sam spent, looks light years away from that level at present.

You would have to judge him on firstc ten games after his signings. Moyes has spent around 30 million on players who haven't improved the team. Sam spent money on first team players who raised the bar
