Only SAFC could turn to a manager who has been openly outed as being corrupt and treated SAFC like shite in the lead up to him leaving.
Sam hasn't been outed as being corrupt.
Several years ago the FA outlawed the purchasing of 3rd party ownership footballers as it was deemed to be 'slavery'. Basically it meant a player wouldn't have enough career choice because they were 'owned' by someone other than a club and too much of his salary was be syphoned off.
Fifa followed suit several years later.
This didn't make it illegal in the eyes of the law, it was a footballing rule / law.
Sam speaking about the buying and selling of 3rd party owned players was going against his own employers rules. That's why he lost his job. He did nothing illegal.
Sam was doing a mate a favour and he and his agent were greedy, gullible fools for getting involved.
However, no crime was committed.
