Aye, because if we go in for them now, they’d sign for us & forfeit the option of a Championship club, playing a better standard, who can pay bigger wages. It’s that simple.

Or, what he meant and what you twisted, was that there’ll be a higher calibre of player available once their window shuts as their options have severely fell. At the risk of sounding arrogant, we’ve got to be considered ā€œthe best of the rest for a majority of these players.

Let’s do all of our business now & let the likes of Portsmouth & Ipswich have a clear run at these players.
But the window is only closed in England. It's still open in Scotland and across Europe so we could sit on our hands and wait until the 9th August and see if we can get players in then or miss out because clubs can sell them to Scottish or European clubs. Either way it's a risk. If we wait for the window to close on 8th then theirs the possibility that Portsmouth or Ipswich could sign Enobakhare before then.

Enobakhare and his agent will already know who is interested, it's just who is going to be interested enough to bid and the lad will probably want to play at a higher level after doing well in league one, maybe one of the sides who went up will loan the lad? Either way, the ball won't be in our court so if we are interested, we'll have made it known to his agent and we'll most likely have to wait on what he decides, not the other way round.

I'd love him here but I'm not sure we'll even be in for him.

Exactly this. We may have already made several attempts to sign this lad, we don't know, and he's said he'll wait to see if any offers come in from championship clubs, which will expire on the 8th.

Who would be stupid enough to sign them? They are both League One players. No one in this division is going to pay anything above £1.5m for Grigg and nobody will give us the £600k we paid for Wyke. We're stuck with them.

Or cash in now and accept the loss.
That's the problem with some of our fans they think that all we have to do is ring up a club and order them to buy our players

Is that not what happens like? Eeeeee.

Never seen that before, looks like the lad has a lot to offer.

Said it before, but my marra is a Wolves season ticket holder and reckons he's the best dribbler they have at the club. Better than Traore they paid millions for and even Jiota.

He's a bit head down, but they think he's decent - better than League One certainly. There's a touch of Sessegnon about it him - but bigger.
