Thomas Frank class manager tbqh but not sure his style would suit being manger of the "bigger" clubs out there. think there'll be undoubted fanfare for him to get a shot but not sure it'd work out

He's done better than any manager in the last year and a half Brentford have been in the premier league, considering what they have to work with. He's done better than pep imho

I tend to agree. I think he’s too smart to take another job in England. Unless it’s a ‘project’.

As well as he's done,Spurs is different animal.

I don't think God himself could manage Spurs with Daniel Levy and ENIC in control of the club
Covid years apart Spurs almost always make a year end profit even making world record profits for a football club this is success for Daniel Levy and ENIC any on field success is seen as a bonus to them, and as they are not prepared to invest heavily enough into the playing side of the club it is no surprise to most Spurs fans that success doesn't materialise year after year.

To prove my point Levy sacked Jose Mourinho just 6 days before a Cup Final so that he could save some pay off money before his planned sacking of Mourhinho that says everything about Levy and his ambitions for Spurs to win trophies.

Spurs are among the top 10 clubs in the world regarding both annual revenue and club valuation, when Spurs release their year end accounts soon for season 21/22 they should be generating around £500m and around £600m for season 22/23 but Romero apart we need almost all of our defenders replacing as well as Lloris in goal.

Apart from the above Spurs really are a diabolical team to watch, Conte ball really is shit, oh and I am not an "entitled plastic fan", I just know the score and know when I am watching absolute shite.

Tottenham to emulate Man City with £162m+ announcement - sources

Tottenham set world-record annual profit of £113m

I have to say there are several factors in play quite a few players have been bought to be fair, but unfortunately far too many of them have turned to shit as soon as they have joined Spurs Le Celso £50m Ndombele £65m, Reguilon £28m, Royal £25m Joe Roden £15m Gil 30m talented but light weight for PL to name a few there have been some good buys as well Bentancur and Kulusevski and Richarlison have been great but all are injured which is currently hurting Spurs badly, then there is Spence £20m and hasn’t had a chance to play yet really.

Conte is also to blame as well, several Spurs players form has nosedived this season Son for example has been Spurs worst player this season really shit apart from a 20 minute hat trick v Leicester he has been diabolically bad.

Spurs have ended up with about 7/8 defenders that are mostly shit or erratic apart from Romero and Perisic oh and Lloris is done as well.

Levy tries to do things on the cheap in general regards to player purchases and wages, which is in complete contrast to the stadium and training facilities which are both amazing and both are continuously being upgraded.

Your approach to buying players sounds very scattergun to be honest. Wish you'd get your arses in gear though, to get above the mags!

Unfortunately I would suggest that you will need to rely on the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United mate, Spurs really are shit this season and without a big upshift in form and several good Signings I can't really see that changing anytime soon.

Not at all, it was shoulder to shoulder, legs barely touch and even so it’s football legs touch each other all the time without it being a foul.

Defender played for a cheap foul and got caught out. Stay on his feet and defend and it’s still 2-1
I see this quite often where people say it was shoulder to shoulder etc when in fact it's a push. Mbeumo uses his left arm that was initially up against his body but then extends out as he uses not just his arm but his whole body momentum to shove Konate in the back (see interpretation of rule below). This kind of shove isn't challenging for the ball at all, it's to put the opposing player off balance. It's clear enough, especially the 2nd one as you see the Liverpool player's upper body speed up and therefore his centre of gravity changes so he goes down, albeit softly. As for the leg contact, Konate's right foot comes up between Mbeumo's legs and there's contact on the back of his calf that affects his stride slightly (his previous stride being affected by the initial push). If that was a SAFC player going down I'm sure many on here would be saying it was a push ;)

The shoulder charge does still have a place in football, but it has to be correct and legitimate. The Laws describe it as ‘a challenge for space using physical contact within playing distance of the ball and without using arms or elbows’. This means that the player’s arm from shoulder to elbow must be kept tightly tucked into his body when the charge is made.

Conte looked the real deal a little while back.

Spurs really are the big underachievers for me in English football. Not that I like them much based on, admittedly, one visit to White Hart Lane 20 years ago.
