Brazil complain to FIFA

If FIFA are going over rule the on field and var officials, then I would agree to suspend.

Leave it to those involved live, I have not got a problem personally
Unless it gets every single decision correct then it can't be consistent. Since may decisions are down to opinion even when slowed down and rewatched then it can't get every decision correct - so for me the detriment to the game is not remotely worth the odd decision it corrects.

The var is not for every single decision made and never was or will be.

It's to assist. The onfield ref decides on its use and then if anything needs to be changed

Well you better get ready for boycouting football at the top level as it's here to stay.

Same in cricket, being able to hear the umpires conversation improved it immensely. Baffling that football hasn't taken the best bits from other sports that use it.

I think with rugby they sometimes look too far back and that could be a problem in football. Imagine if someone is sent off by looking back a load of passes into a move just because it ended with a penalty decision or a goal.

Are you watching the Russia game? The ref gives a free kick, var suggests he has made an error, reviewed and within a minute a penalty is confirmed.

Perfect var implementation

aye i'm watching. yes it worked well in that instance. not disagreeing with that. but theres just as many examples of it not working. so whats the point? we are no further forward. human error, referee mistakes, decisions that split opinion even after 50 replays; its what makes footy class. its horrible when it goes against you, weve been on the end of some horrors, but thats footy. its not broken enough to warrant fixing. this VAR, on the whole, is shite for me. all this confusion, not being able to celebrate goals properly without a 5 second delay, not knowing if the play is gonna get called back at any second for something you know nowt about. its bad enough when watching on the tele, it will be utterly shite when actually at the match. just f***ing leave it alone man FIFA you tossers

I was asking for opinion on whether its improving football or not - not quoting of the supposed rules. I understand the rules you quote and thinks its utter shite.
I' have this opinion.

Here it is.

Tonight the referee gave a free kick. The var suggested he should check. He checked and the actually correct thing was a penalty.

Here is opinion. An absolutely perfect example for the use of var.

No arguments from either team. No doubts whatsoever

There's opinion as clear as I can make it

100% correct. We are totally forgetting what makes football the best game in the world. They say that there is so much money at stake so they need this technology - exactly why we shoudl get rid of it.

And when it gets thing wrong or ignores blatant decisions missed by the ref? I guess its all swings and roundabouts. You seem to find it very easy to ignore when it gets thing wrong or ignores decision by tiresomely quoting that the refs decisions are final.
