Brazil complain to FIFA

What you are doing is quoting rules which is easy to do. The rest of the world is suggesting that while you may be correct that is being correctly applied that it is in fact not making decision making better or anymore consistent. If you cannot give us your opinion there is no need for anymore replies because I clearly get that you are good at quoting FIFA.
I've have given my opinion time and again.

It's down to the onfield ref, which has been the case forever.

If the VAR has looked at it and seen nothing wrong then it's a joke. Equally if the ref has said that he clearly saw it and doesn't need to have another look because he's happy with his decision then he needs to be sent home because he obviously doesn't have a f***ing clue
Is that any different from any game var or not?

The glaring error, like the Sweden penalty, where there is zero doubt. That's all it should be for.
I agree but every decision is looked at by VAR - that may be 20 decisions in a game. With this system you simply can't limit to what you are suggesting. As mentioned above FIFA and the refs made a point on briefing all players and managers that pulling in the box would be clamped down on and penalties this tournament. We then had the most blatant example of that last night. If FIFA had made that statement about pulling in the box how can't VAR be applied.

Was it really a penalty ?

Now the var for a line decision in the Russian game. He's gave a free kick outside, var is checking, and the decision is changed and a penalty.

Perfect example of var.

And handy as I'm on the pen award and btts

It's not a joke. What is a joke is the lack of understanding when it's to be used and how.

It's straightforward, the ref is in contact with the var officials.

He is the sole arbitrator on the pitch and var is there to assist him.

If he feels after being asked to check a decision, or var contact him about things and he replies, no, then that is it

Video ASSISTANT referee. It's there to assist and not takeover.

The incidents in the England game were not referred as the referee declared he had seen them and deemed them not a penalty.

That is nothing different to any game in the past, and we all have seen enough of what we thought were pens but the ref didn't.
Which is just a nonsense. The Video ref has a better view and multiple angles and chances to review, the ref has one chance, one angle. The video ref should be able to over-rule the ref, simple as. If not, give each team 2 reviews per half, called from the captain or manager.

If our ref seriously saw the two Kane incidents and thought they were not pens, he should never ref again.

Every decision is not looked at by var.

A perfect example has just occured. Would you have rather it was a free kick and Egypt should just live with the error?

Well, as the Telegraph article attached above says FIFA have acknowledged that they will review whether VAR failed last night - especially when they laughably said that there would be zero tolerance on such incidents. The point is that it is quite obvious the VAR is missing a lot of incidents but picking up others - that is the opposite of sorting out inconsistencies. I bet you FIFA acknowledge that incidents like the Kane one should have been picked up.

To you it's nonsense. All I'm saying is how it works.

Perfect use of var just occured

Perfect use of var or should Egypt be denied the penalty, as it's one of those things that even up?
