Brazil complain to FIFA

From the FIFA site:
Throughout a match, the video assistant referee team constantly checks for clear and obvious errors related to these four match-changing situations. The VAR team communicates with the referee only for clear and obvious mistakes or serious missed incidents.
I've said that day in day out. Time and again I said look at the FIFA site

It's straightforward

Brazil complaining that Switzerland's equaliser came from a push, errr Brazil, if you want to see proper pushes/foul play look at England's 2 penalties that weren't given on Harry Kane, then you'd have something to moan about regarding VAR.

This ^^^^ How on earth Kanes both fouls were denied in the box despite both being clear as day!!! Joke

The ref played on from what the French claimed was a penalty.
Then about 40 seconds later the ref called a time out because he got a message in his earpiece telling him it was a penalty. So he went and looked at the screen and awarded a penalty.

That goes against what your saying in regards to the ref being the man in charge
It does not. The var thought he had made an error.

He then went to the touchline and looked on a screen. He then changed his mind on review.

It was the ref himself changing the decision after var intervened. If he had confirmed his original decision, not var or TV pundits can do anything.

But the ref made the decision of no penalty. Why was he being chased to change his mind

Totally agree - its a failure. Apparently, the refs got all players and managers in before the tournament and said that pulling of players on the box would result in penalties. VAR has been used and totally ignored a major edict from FIFA and the refs. Its an utter joke and I've no problems with Brazil complaining.
Var has not been ignored. It's the on field ref, sticking to his opinion, they were not pens.

Nowt different from any previous world cup

It shouldn't be down to the ref to decide whether to go and have another look. they should be saying "ref, that decision was wrong. award a penalty"
Video ASSISTANT ref. The onfield ref is the sole arbitrator. The var shows him an incident, so he can double check his original decision.

If he looks then confirms in his mind he was right, that's it.
