Brazil complain to FIFA

I' have this opinion.

Here it is.

Tonight the referee gave a free kick. The var suggested he should check. He checked and the actually correct thing was a penalty.

Here is opinion. An absolutely perfect example for the use of var.

No arguments from either team. No doubts whatsoever

There's opinion as clear as I can make it

thats an opinion on one decision. i think he meant what is your opinion on it as a whole? without using specific examples, do you think it makes the game, as a whole, better to watch and play ?

Are you watching the Russia game? The ref gives a free kick, var suggests he has made an error, reviewed and within a minute a penalty is confirmed.

Perfect var implementation

But I thought you said the ref was making the decisions? He's gone with the VAR there. He thinks free kick, VAR thinks penalty and as far as I remember the ref never actually went to check it on the monitor, he's let the VAR make the decision.

100% correct. We are totally forgetting what makes football the best game in the world. They say that there is so much money at stake so they need this technology - exactly why we shoudl get rid of it.
Say that to chairman, owners, players. Fans don't matter one iota in this.

That was a line decision. The var in his lug, said it was inside, so he did not have to watch a replay

If it was a foul, therefore refs opinion or vars, he would go to the pitch side screen

I thought you supported this.
I've said all along on how it's being used.

I've given my opinion on how it's used

Others seem to have no idea when var is in play.

Not my fault people don't read up on the facts given on the FIFA site

How come it’s incorrect he pushed him in the back with both hand. I do apologise for the misspelling 100 lines of I must try harder with my spelling

This is it. If it shows refs are wrong and there’s nothing you can do about it, then what’s the f***ing point in having it
How many times.

Opinion decisions are there for the ref. Var is only an ASSIST for crying out loud.

It's down to the onfield ref everything that happens, with var there to assist and help him get more right

That's an opinion decision. The ref in his opinion, was happy with the challenge. Var would have called him but in his mind he was 100% no foul.

If he had doubt, he would have went pitchside

So now we have another level of inconsistancy
In what way. The ref view he thought it was outside. Var confirmed through his lug it was in. The penalty was given. Perfect. Not an opinion decision but factual line decision

Not inconsistent in any way at all

That's my whack so stop quoting me, as I've made it as clear as possible.

Argue and agree between yourselves

But the foul started outside and continued inside. For me the ref should be checking to ensure he's happy that the foul did indeed continue inside the box and impeded the player, if not then it would be a free kick. That's not quite as simple as a "did the ball go out or not?" decision. If I was a ref I'd want to view that again, whereas if a VAR simply told me the whole of the ball had crossed the line and a goal kick should have been given or similar I'd take their advice without checking

Your perfectly correct opinion.

I'm just saying it as what actually happened.

I get what your saying but it was a foul and he was wrong he should of been told to go and have a look
