Braveheart 2 Trailer

Ah, more anti-English propaganda.

Looks naff from that, Outlaw King definitely won the trailer war and set the bar high.

Why do they never show the parts where the Scots raped and pillaged through northern English settlements or in Ireland?
Why are the Bruce’s painted as some kind of romantic freedom fighters and not a power hungry family who wanted control over Scotland and Ireland.

also still there in late 19th century, in Cramlington? ... Shankhouse Black Watch FC

"...Established in 1883 when the Scottish Highland Black Watch regiment camped nearby arranged a match against locals, Shankhouse FC joined the Alliance eight years later, and remain its oldest surviving member (as well as being one of just a few amateur clubs in England to boast full affiliation to the FA).

Then competing against sides which would become Newcastle United and Sunderland, they won the title at only their second attempt, in 1893, and later enjoyed FA Cup ties against the likes of Aston Villa..." (Aston Villa were FA Cup holders at time!)

Shankhouse say focused on the future

Shankhouse Black Watch: Shankhouse were one of the strongest of many colliery teams that sprang up in the north-east. Formed in 1884, they played Aston Villa in the 1887-88 FA Cup and reached seven Northumberland Challenge Cup finals between 1885 and 1895.
All Black kit with red stripe running diagonally down shirt (right shoulder to left hip)

changed name to Cramlington Town once the regiment got posted elsewhere...

I was in Greystoke last week. That’s been burned down by the jocks three times.
