"I want to give so many people credit."

Dear me ....... sorry but this isn't an awards show.

Who is this oaf to decide he should be giving people credit ...... this is all starting to become a little uncomfortable now imo.

Quiet dignified respect seems to be an alien concept these days.

Didn't see anything wrong with that tbh. Unscripted, heartfelt words in my opinion.

For once I'm in agreement with Reiver...

I think the fair play comments are based on Reivet having a go.
It just irritates me that people are somehow shocked and touched that a normal (still ridiculous, good to laugh at and his choice of team and dress sense is shocking) fella is being nice about a tragic situation. There was plenty on here saying fair play to Costa and Terry and that they had a new found respect for them because they had a bit mess around with him pre-match last season. I mean fuckin hell man, they might be dickheads on the pitch but they aren't monsters.

Only if they specifically disagree with something as I do here.

Its the nature of this place imo, it's hard to believe anyone would have any grievance with what he's said just because he's gave credit to his parents and defoe. Just a normal thing to say, praising them imo, obviously though everyone is entitled to an opinion. I just think on here people will always have a problem with everything.

Drama Queen alert. Most people including me have to voice their opinion on an anonymous message board - when they see a local lad comfortably voicing their opinion on camera they target them - it's easy to do as you can see them -.....fact is he puts himself out there and does it well - we have seen others attempt this with shite videos. He is not doing this for kudos, it's because he saw what all of us saw.

I read on here people talking about Jermaine Defoe for Sports Personality of the year. Couldn't agree more- Why - for the reasons True Geordie said, Jermaine bridged the gap between the stands, the family and the pitch - he felt his pain and I bet you he was nearly as devastated as the parents. In a time when SAFC seemed to be in the worst state ever the club still put Bradley on a pedestal. People say the players don't care, some probably don't. But I bet some of them felt terrible seeing little Bradley run in the changing rooms after a home defeat and he was beaming ear to ear. I would have.

This working class club found a brother from another mother in Everton, the same working class club but from a different town - they have really shown what matters - when all seems lost with our club, remember what they did for Bradley, and what Bradley did to restore your faith in humanity.
