We are delighted to announce that the Stadium of Light will be hosting a celebrity football match on Monday 8 May (1pm), raising vital funds for the Foundation of Light and Bradley Lowery Foundation
Tickets will be sold on our Ticketmaster system, with primary tickets available in the West Stand at a cost of £12 for adults and £6 for concessions. VIP access to the Montgomery Suite is available for £35, with car parking at a cost of £10

To be fair , when they initially set this up, they wouldnt have known that it would be the kings coronation , which affected all the championship games to be moved to the Monday
they may have hoped safc might have won promotion/ or made the play offs and this would have attracted a full crowd, celebrating that on the bank holiday Monday
