I havent slated anyone but slating Queen with a catalogue as diverse as any band on the planet is something elseIncredibly, we don't all have the same taste so I could say the same back to you and would mean just as much as your original quote.
If by diversity you mean clumsy efforts at disco, heavy metal, rock and roll, etc., not to mention their sing along sub-footy chants, then I agree.I havent slated anyone but slating Queen with a catalogue as diverse as any band on the planet is something else
Westlife or Boyzone fan?
Im sure Queen are gutted as someone who obviously sounds such an expert on the subject thinks so lowly of them.If by diversity you mean clumsy efforts at disco, heavy metal, rock and roll, etc., not to mention their sing along sub-footy chants, then I agree.
You seem under the impression, judging by your hilarious Westlife / Boyzone reference, that Queen were something a bit more than a clunky rock-pop band who dabbled (or some might say copied) in whatever was popular at the time.
I don't like their music. It isn't that hard to understand, is it?
I'm genuinely baffled by your inability to understand that not everyone likes Queen. And I'm sure Queen are totally unaware I don't like their music and could care less anyway.Im sure Queen are gutted as someone who obviously sounds such an expert on the subject thinks so lowly of them.
Westlife or Boyzone?
I think Boyzone.I'm genuinely baffled by your inability to understand that not everyone likes Queen. And I'm sure Queen are totally unaware I don't like their music and could care less anyway.
Do keep persevering with the Westlife / Boyzone thing though.
I'm sure @Northumberland Rocks is a thoroughly decent chap and the Boy has made a decent career for himself (actually, he is / was quite a good DJ).So @zwartekat & @Northumberland Rocks : you’re both agree wholeheartedly about Boy George?
Like a bit of Queen but cant say I ever liked Boy George.I'm sure @Northumberland Rocks is a thoroughly decent chap and the Boy has made a decent career for himself (actually, he is / was quite a good DJ).
Saw it too on the red button and couldn't agree more.Caught a bit of a thing on BBC2 just now of them playing live.
Bloody awful. George can’t carry a tune in a bucket anymore. He’s sounding older than methuselah and moving like he’s holding a fart in.
