Boro to sue the EFL

To be fair to them, from the outside looking in, the sale of the stadium, the circumventing of wage/turnover in appointing Rooney as a coach/ sponsor paying his wages all look dodgy as fuck.

it allows an unfair advantage for clubs with bigger assets to sell them to make up a shortfall on expenditure and places them outside of the guidelines, either way the loophole needs removing as its easily exploitable in its current guise.

SAFC new takeover deal backroom staff announced messi as player/manager, Ronaldo as player/assistant manager, mbappe as player/dinner lady.

Can see why some clubs are unhappy with this and it obviously shouldn’t be allowed but if the EFL leave these loopholes open then you can’t blame the clubs for exploiting it.
There is also nothing to stop the owner from falling out with the club and hiking the rental up by whatever percentage he wants.

It’s risky either way.
