Boro fans inferiority complex

That's fair enough although I hope you accept we're a bigger club than Middlesbrough

No doubt about it, historically you have always averaged higher crowds and have won more silverware.

I've got to say though, given the choice as to whether I would have preferred to have lived my life supporting Sunderland, or lived my life supporting Boro and seen my club compete in Europe, reach a European final and win a trophy, I'd choose Boro every time. Again not saying that to get a bite, just being honest.

Funny you should say that but not winning fuck all and I'd still rather support Sunderland ;)

Wouldn't disagree. Makes the crowds we get even more remarkable

Was this before you went out of business or after?

You’s have done well tbf like with europe and that

It was after, and fortunately for us ever since we've had possibly the best Chairman in the football league.

Think you could do with having a chairman like him right now given your current predicament.

 Dear me. Maybe if there wasn't so many Boro related threads on this board it wouldn't be as tempting to come on here, but of course you don't care do you ;)
So you must look on here often, that is sad indeed, very sad.
I reckon not one person from Sunderland posts on a boro message board if indeed they have one

Good post and I hate to say it but, I agree with the last bit. I'm resigned to not seeing us do either. As much as people say they don't regard Boro as rivals but I always have. Not on Newcastle levels but far more than Leeds etc and was very jealous of your success just over a decade or so ago.

That all said, I still couldn't imagine supporting anyone else but these useless bastards mind.

Actually we get a fair few posting on our board, your very own joebolton who posts on here is one of them.

I do on occasion. Their mb has an incredibly 'retro' feel to it. Like going back in time - almost like being in the boro itself really.

The folk who inhabit it can be very much like the folk who inhabit these pages. Football fans are much of a muchness tbf.

Slaven's piece is extremely contradictory and makes little sense.

He argues we need a manager who can immediately get wins, not a defence minded manager who plays for draws.

What Slaven fails to mention is that goals are not a problem for us. Keeping clean sheets is. I think Karanka would be a good fit. Slaven sounds desperate, they were pleased to see the back of him so why do they suddenly care we he ends up?
