I hope we do end up paying 14m for him. If we do it'll be because he's scored loads of goals and we've finished high up the league.

This would be a mint signing for us. For all the people who are saying he's not worth it/isn't that good etc, just remember we usually sign players like jones, Gomez, Larsson, Diakite , Roberge, Celustka, Mavirias etc etc.

The players we normally sign are not fit enough to lace the Italian international Fabio Borini's boots

Ha'way Fabio!!!!

All your insults won't change the fact that the money we overpay for borini will in some shape or form stop us from going for other targets. We do not have a bottomless pit of money.

Had on, it was "no money" a minute agin and now it's not a "bottomless pit"

I'm beginning to think you don't know anything about our transfer budget at all!

Here's a question.

Would you prefer One quality player that has a big impact or 3 or 4 poor/average who contribute very little and we are then stuck with for years?
Is prefer us to get borini for a reasonable fee or tell Liverpool to shove it. He's not the only striker out there.

Confirms? You talking about you clown. I've a season ticket and I travel to most away games.

Sorry i'm not excited about a player that scored 7 league goals last season.

People mention his wor krate but everybody works hard on the pitch.

You're totally out of touch. You think strikers at our level are supposed to score close to 30 goals, you also think you can easily get two quality players in easily for no more than 6million each. To do that takes incredible scouting and is still a massive risk. Have you been paying attention to the fees going about in this window. This looks like pretty good value considering.

Do you remember what happened last summer when we bought a load of "bargains".....this lad has proven himself to be quality and will only get better. The problem is you're choosing to judge him on the wrong criteria.

Are you aware of what other strikers are going for?

MCCormack -£11m
Ulloa - £7m

If that's the benchmark then Borini is a fair price.

Don't forget he's played for some of the best clubs in Europe and scored 11 goals from outside last season.
